Event Description:
Festival of Lights & Lighted Parade - All along Main Street and indoor holiday market at Smithville REC Center. Always the first Saturday in December. A big thanks to our Festival of Lights Daytime Event sponsor: Tom & Debi Etheredge and our Festival of Lights Lighted Parade sponsor: Lost Pines Toyota.
2021 will be the 30th annual event! You can register for parade on day of the parade at 1st & Olive beginning at 4pm. NO CHARGE FOR PARADE.

Free Flu Shots by Smithville Community Clinic – 100 Main St.
Indoor Holiday Market: 10am-4pm at the Smithville REC Center
Outdoor Holiday Market on Main Street: 10am-4pm downtown
Kid’s Fest: Includes train, bounce houses, clown, mini golf, junior cornhole tournament & basketball hoop toss: 10am – 4pm (Jr. Cornhole is 10am-12pm) - Kid's Fest Sponsors: Meyerson Custom Builders, Advanced Home Health, Apple Lumber, Building A Dream, City of Smithville, Pease Custom Floors, Smith Supply, Totally Hook'd Team of Keller Williams
6pm: Celebrate Smitty’s 15-year anniversary birthday in Smitty’s Corner and cut a ribbon with us as we unveil Smitty’s Corner (right next to the Chamber building)
6:45pm: Lighting of the Gazebo with Peace Poster winner Allison Reed
Lighted Parade: 7pm (register in person at 1st & Olive) - Parade route: Line up down 1st Street (from Main to Marburger) - Turn on to Main at 7pm, march down Main and turn right just past the library. - Parade line up begins at 5:30pm. Judging for parade will begin at 5:45pm.
