Event Description:
ECO/PHOTO FEST 2020:
In 2020, the Eco/Photo Fest will once again be a virtual program. Beginning on June 13, Eco/Photo Fest will kick off a weeklong virtual conference that will focus on the connection between photographic instruction and relatable topics in the environment, ecological systems, and eco tourism.
Topics that blend ecology with photography will include:
The format this year will include pre-recorded interviews with each of the panelists as well as an interactive “conference” style program. All will "go live" on June 13, 2020.
We will also host an “Outdoor Tourism Roundtable” during the week, to gather people around the table who are looking for innovative ways to market the activities that people will need to keep healthy and active and still socially distanced and safe.
Of course, the Photo Fest side will host a photography contest, through which participants will submit photos after having learned something through the photography instruction for prizes and recognition throughout the week following the conference. The official end of the program will be 6/13/2020, when the photo contest will end.
