The Texas State Parks Youth Arts Contest runs until November 1and has five categories: art, writing, photography, videography and music and is open to anyone under 19. Visit your Texas State Parks. Whether it’s the cool waters of Lake Somerville, the fire-scarred pines of Bastrop State Park or the stately grandeur of the Kreische House at Monument Hill State Park, Texas State Parks offers diverse and abundant scenery to inspireyour inner artist.
